We will work hard so viewers can consider this to be their main source for HQ Anime. Our goal is to produce BD/DVD releases that are recognized not only for their speed, but for their quality also. Our releases will be available through various DDL sites, torrents, and via XDCC. 1080p is always our top priority (if the source warrants it).
This site includes an Anime OST (Original Soundtrack) page where visitors may access high quality downloads for songs from their favorite animes. No longer will listeners have to search online to find their favorite songs; they will be available right here on our site.
We have a Social section with a Comments page where visitors can interact with one another by commenting and/or asking questions and receiving answers. We check the board constantly so please feel free to use that when making requests. You can also contact one of us via the Chatbox on the site or by using IRC @ #Kira-Fansub@rizon.net
Kira-Fansub is also proud to announce that we have recently started our own Kira-Shop where you can find Anime, Manga, and Games available for purchase from our members. Many of the items were used only once and all the proceeds go towards paying for any future BDs.
In addition, we also have a separate NSFW “sister-site” Kira-H that is constantly being updated and is maintained by our very own Doujin Master, John Conner. He has proven time and time again his ability to provide visitors with the best doujin materials available. Direct download links only of course.

For guaranteed playback compatibility, we highly recommend Media Player Classic (K-Lite Codec Pack or CCCP) for our Windows users. Mac OS X users can also achieve the same exact compatibility by installing MPlayerX for free through the Mac App Store.
Check CCCP and XhmikosR’s builds for latest player builds and customizations.

Hey Kira-Sub I have been to your site a few times and love your High-Def work. But sometime in the donation box I see that you guys are in need of money for computers to help with subbing. As u can see with the new project we r starting to use our encode from BDMV.
I can say that I will go with the things that comes first and better going to stop using share-raws eventually.

Yo….You guys rule! Not like you never herd it before…..but I’m just gonna go ahead and be one more person to tell you guys that this is in fact the best place to come for good anime. Not only the best anime but High quality anime. I dont know if its just me….but some of them look better and more crystal clear after you guys have touched it. You guys got skills man. Mad skills or you have quite a few leprechaun’s on staff. Keep up the good work cause I literally never have to go any where else to look for anime. The selection here is enough to keep one entertained for quite a while. I have to say….and I’m sure everyone that visits this site will agree with me……I hope everyone that makes Kira-fansubs possible become rich and/or receive the greatest head ever given to anyone in the history man for life. Just one question, is Kira-subs dropping Hyakka Ryouran cause to be honest I have been downloading it since March and I’m only at 25% of Vol 3 took me 3 and half weeks to finish one Vol pls help 4/5 seeders not that I’m complaining just what to know cause if you guys aren’t dropping it then I’ll go on for as long as it takes
We can’t seed stuff forever, for samurai you can grab the batch torrent when it’ll be out, or you can have them by DDL or XDCC, you have many choices, and BTW we finished the anime a few weeks ago it’s complete.

I was wondering, would Kira or Kira-H ever get forums like a lot of subbing groups have?
Like you could disable images on them if it was a BW issue, I love commenting on the blog-style posts but having a fan forum would also rock as a supplement
Hey. So, I was wondering about something. I’m currently watching your release of Seikon o Qwaser, and I noticed that the quality is pretty low. I’ve read a couple of posts and I know it’s been an issue, but I figured that I could just download another version and copy the subtitles into those videos (I know it can be done somehow), but then I saw that the subtitles were hardsub. Any way that I can download a softsub version of your subtitles?
