    • yeah and the size this time is somehow bloated too (even though its dual audio, its AAC), I mean (old series) 720p @ ~700 mb with 1280×960 @ 4:3 o.O
the resolution isn’t quite right here >.>

  1. I agree with minhtri , looking at the pics decays are better .Why not use there raws and re-release it or do a 1080p version as well romeyo .

  2. <3 Engrish ^_^
(The following is typed exactly the way it appears in the show, and it's not a subtitle issue)

    PLANETALY DEFENCE SYSTEM ALL DESTROYED
    A DECASED CITIZEN 10,000,000

    STATUS CLITICAL

…. That sounds like a fun status to be in IMO ^_~

I just had to share since Engrish entertains me to no end when it is not intentional lol

  3. Not saying scrap it. Just thinking not many will want it regardless of the size. Sorry, this one is just way to blurry. Worse than v2 of qwaser =/

    • You’re downloading BD-rips of an upscaled SD show and complaining about filesize? I don’t know what audio bitrates these files use, but even with a generous estimate of 224 kbps, that’s still only ~970 MB across all of Gravion and Gravion Zwei worth of English audio. With a more conservative 160 kbps, it drops to ~693 MB, or just under one CD-R’s worth. Which I suppose matters, if in fact you are burning these to CD-R.

  4. if u guys want me to use Decay raws I don’t mind doing that in the end u guys gonna watch it not me. I got the BDMV with subtitles so I’m fine.
anyone me to use Decay comment here

  5. Is it possible for u to re encode in order to release a better quality.if u plan to use Decay raws will u still release episodes in dual audio and in 960p?

      • Why downscale it if you use DECAYS ,the file sizes of DECAYS ep1 raw[630mbs] are smaller than you 960 links so i don’t see a point .Even when you mux the English track in it will probably be a similar size to the 960p & a better quality,down-scaling it will just lose quality and make the point of you using the better raw redundant .

        • Trey-san the 1080 is not that good also other people won’t be able to play it. I still think using Decay raw is bad idea. also if u check the screen shot for the guy u will see that when u zoom on that guy body
watch carefully not edges but colours inside and watch how grain looks like squares+different coulurs everywhere it happen a lot if you oversharp image, over sharping destroy the video. so I’m still thinking about using my release and I can set the bitrate constant instead of using CRF16 i will use 2pass @ 4000

  6. Come on, people, you must be blind to want 1280×960. From screenshots it’s obvious that even 960×720 is more than enough for this source.

  7. I have a hard copy of the entire show on 480p DVD so I can get my fix there.

    BUT!

720p dual audio if possible, I’d watch it again just for not having to deal with hard copies. =D

    Romeyo007:
Naturally, You fine folks giving us treats all the time. I again say thank you, regardless ^_^

  8. There’s something wrong with the encode. It’s too stuttery and doesn’t have smooth framerates.

Now I download the lower res version hoping it’s better.

    • I’m not saying decay is a bad raw, they just shouldn’t sharp any release they do. also black smith is a whole different story since the source not old also it was true HD with 1080p not like this one which upscale from 480. I decide to use my version and i will upload the scripts for people who want decay they just mux the scripts and done. for zewi yes i will be doing that finished downloading the BDMV for them.

        • When you say to shift it 1 frame how many milliseconds does that mean and do you mean I need to delay or subtract delay a “frame” from his script when muxing it with DECAY’s raw (naturally by the way I’m describing what I may do you should be able to tell I’m intending to use mkvmerge)? I’ll also be switching out DECAY’s FLAC Japanese audio with the AAC in this release. Am I to assume the “frame shift” should apply to the audio as well?

          • Oh, i was joking. actually, when i screenshoted, i used “go to frame” of MPC-HC, then i shifted 1 frame to match screenshots of Decay & Kira.
and Romeyo said he will re time scripts for u. so i think u only need to mux, dont need to shift or re time or something else.

  9. I guess you’re not doing a 720 release. While I prefer a smaller file size, the important thing is that you’re releasing them at all and a few more gigs won’t deter me from downloading them.

Actually, I’m interested to know if you’re going release some batch torrents since direct downloading is kind of a hassle for me.

  10. The titles and Sings track on episode 1 has the episode # and Title so far off to the right that all that can be read of it is # & Fortress.

  11. I suggest to all the have used direct download for acquiring the files (especially fileserve) to hash in to the torrent to download missing pieces. /However/, in order to do so, you will have to remove all +’s found in the file names per the direct downloads while conserving the double spacing in it’s place as is found in the torrent’s file names.

    EXAMPLE:
    direct download ep01 filename: [Kira-Fansub]_Choujuushin Gravion_Episode 01_(BD 1280×960 h264 JP AAC + EN AAC) [7182DA11]

    torrent download ep01 filename: [Kira-Fansub]_Choujuushin Gravion_Episode 01_(BD 1280×960 h264 JP AAC EN AAC) [7182DA11]

this applies only to ep01-13 and not the extras/specials.

On a different note, I’m seeing that, for some reason, underscores ( aka _ ) are inconsistently placed within the file names where they switch off with normal spacing. Can anyone mention why this is? I would assume that the file name should either contain all normal spaces between each word/number or contain underscores between each word/number throughout the entire file name, instead. =^..^=

  12. correction:

    direct download example:
    [Kira-Fansub]_Choujuushin Gravion_Episode ##_(BD 1280×960 h264 JP AAC + EN AAC) [7182DA11]

    torrent download example:
    [Kira-Fansub]_Choujuushin Gravion_Episode ##_(BD 1280×960 h264 JP AAC EN AAC) [7182DA11]

(the spacing was incorrent in the first attempt to display the differences)

    • html in general condenses multiple spaces into one. Try using the “non-breaking space” character &_nbsp; (remove underscore), and you  should   be    able to create more spaces. Hopefully this works, at least.

  13. Just one question. Is it me or is the japanese audiostream in ep.1 a bit out of sync? Or is it like this in the raw? For example at 15:18 – moving mouth no speech and 15:27 – drilling sound before drill starts spinning. I just thought this is really weird since in the first case it’s an audio delay and the second is a video delay , and in general the audio for the entire ep seemed a bit “strange”.

      • I would have thought so too , had I not seen all the rest eps and tried it on 2 pc’s with both cccp (latest ver) and k-lite (uninstalling cccp first). And my pc is an i7 860 with 8 GB ram ,a 5770 and 2 vertex turbo 80GB on raid-o , and after having played a few houndred bd rips at 1080p , both anime and movies , with no problem , I tend to say it’s not my pc. But it’s not important , since as I said all the rest of the eps played perfectly. I just thought it was weird and wanted to know if that’s how it is at the source (BD) video.

  14. is there anyone still seeding because im downloading it barely getting any download percentage getting 1 percent for 2 hours please seed :)
