Summery: When two doors are discovered in an ancient ruin, the gateways to Shinkai, the realm of the shinzoku (Gods) and Makai, the realm of the mazoku (Demons) are irreversibly opened. The races of human, shinzoku, and mazoku come together in the mortal world and nothing will ever be the same. ep 24 the 720p version had video corruption so i had to make v2. for ep 1 only the people who watch the dub need to get version 2 to fix the lyrics from the insert song in the dub scripts

I thought that the original size of the video is 480p. And the DB version is just another upscale. Am i wrong?
I’m just asking, because i’d like to load the 1080p video. But if it’s just a upscale from 480p, i would load only the 720p.

Nope, it’s not a world first. Shinsen-Subs released the prologue with English subs back in 2005. Not amazing quality, but 640×360 Xvid .avi, pretty standard for its day.
It’s been subbed in english by Anime House but it was a shitty lowres realmedia release.
Also, with the fileserve directory, you have episodes 1v2 listed twice.

yes we took the scripts cleaned the grammar changed the default style replaced the signs with styled sign and added karaoke for the opening ending.

You, are an idiot. Go grab a DVD rip of episode 1 of shuffle. Then come back, and grab episode 1 from here. Watch them both, and see which one is better. Of course, if you don’t have an HD monitor to watch it on, then you won’t see much difference, so you should stick to the DVD rip.

And i like your idea of adding info about upscaling or a statement like “we never upscale” as it is done by a lot of good fansub groups, maybe romeyo will add something.
@quake: i disagree with you, like Dmon said, you must be an idiot if you can’t tell which one is better.
But there is a lot of room for improvement, as DVD restricts the codec used (MPEG2), may have interlacing issues, lower bitrates, worse audio, even noise…
An upscale means that the show originally didn’t sport the “details” to make use of the HD 720p resolution, but it will still look way better than a DVD if the transfer has been done right.
The colors of the BD-Version can be way better, the picture overall way clearer and stable… etcetc…
I gotta say here, that a LOT of Anime-BDs are in fact upscales and that not too many shows have actually been produced at resolutions higher than 720p… some studios go for 576p.. or something inbetween 720p and 1080p. And why should they, Anime runs on TV which restricts the resolution to 1080i still nowadays. Why bother investing into producing at 1080p reoslution? Some shows are, most are not. Yet BD-Anime can look astonishingly betetr than DVDs.

Just hope you guys will continue with the BD for Railgun. AtsA did it, but they separated the OPs & EDs, and for me at least, makes it hard to watch, even with them in the same folder. Also their site is rather loser-sounding.
Actually, a lot of shows come as SD-Upscales on Blu-Ray.
It just so happens that, sometimes, such upscales may look a tiny bit better in 1080p, even tho’ the details for it aren’t there as it was produced <720p.
In those cases it's up to the individual to decide whether a 1080p is worth the space or
it isn't.
I, personally, think the 720p Version is pretty nice in terms of filesize and that the 1080p doesn't provide reasonable advantages in terms of quality over it – as in, it doesn't really justify the increase in size for what it improves (if it does). It's all in the eye of the individual.
It's a good job anyways and I'm gonna enjoy it.

I can’t promise you guys the I will be able to do it for some reasons: first it have 12 different ending and then i will have to do the karaoke for every ending, I just finished HOTD with all the different ED song, 2nd Baaka group are doing which the group i will be using their scripts if I’m gonna do it. 3rd i still have 14 ongoing show to work on and I’m the only timer in the group. 4th i was disappointed when they did the same censorship as what they did with season 1. but I will think about it. so don’t lose hope.

You means the censorship of Tomoki’s elephant? well I’m glad that they censor his elephant. I think the anime never intends to show naked boobs, same with the manga, and (at least to me) the censorship using light beam does make fans stick their faces/eyes into the screen to look for the ‘things’ even though we never get it. I think I like it that way.
anyway, i will have to be PATIENT and wait for Baaka’s release, hopefully they will finish it.

Whats’s with the “edition 1/2″ i see in each ep, what’s the difference between them?, i’ve switched it around and found nothing
The difference is in the chapter list. However in edition 2 there are only two chapters, both nameless and both start at the same time of 0.054s. Editions are used to create different chapterlists.

Had you checked that you’re not running other programs at the time that you’re watching those episodes? For me if I’m running lots of other programs in the background and try to watch a 1080p it won’t be synchronized because of the CPU usage is push to max.
On episode 24v2 720 time 02:22, there was an error on the graphic. I try both batch and single torrent downloads and it’s still the same error. Was hoping if you would check on that thanks.
