Fun as it is bright as it is (I saw it weeks ago) there’s something inside me that’s saying no… no… this is just… wrong. I enjoy it, yet it makes me cringe a little bit. It’s like… this guy I knew a long time ago. He was really into Battlestar Galactica. The original one. He thought it would be so cool to buy all this BG gear from ads in the SF magazines and dress up like Starbuck. I just shook my head. Couldn’t convince him. It was that little thing in me cringing. I love K-On, but this makes me cringe.

1080 around 20GB and no sub, i don’t have all the song lyrics all the translator don’t like to TL song off the voice

I can understand that TL song off the voice is quite tough.
But how about during their talking sessions? How about just TL those parts and release the subs as .ASS, .SRT or something like that. Since most people would have gotten the raws.

Oh, as for the lyrics to the songs. I might be able to get them from the albums.
But I’m not sure if the girls are singing according to the lyrics or did they make any extras in the songs.

Sorry guys but the 1080p is awful. The biggest thing you derped on was not doing IVTC or deinterlacing, which is needed with this disc as the source is 1080i. Simply encoding interlaced material as progressive is very inefficient for motion compensation. For pure interlaced material you must set the flag as interlaced in x264, or properly deinterlace if you are encoding as progressive.
If you have telecined material (which is usually the case for anime, but not live shows or sports), then you need to IVTC it and decimate to remove the duplicated frames. This is why 29.97 sources become 23.976 (since in the first place the source is 24 fps, telecined to 30fps to match the frame rate of TV – the reason for the difference in the source being 24fps and 23.976 was to do with how colour TV was implemented all those years ago. To ensure the same analog bandwith with colour compared to black and white, they had to lower the framerate).
So yeah, interlacing is why you have jaggies in the “1080p” version (or maybe you used discard field option, which effectively halves the resolution, in which case it shou;dn’t have been encoded at 1080p). If you have the ISO or can tell me where to get it, I’d be happy to encode it.

lol, sorry bro I was a little mad at the time. Thanks for the link, I’m gonna attempt to download it lol. I won’t know until I look at the raw myself if it’s pure interlaced or not, but yeah. If it’s telecined then telecide and decimate would make a nice job of it. If it’s pure interlaced, then yeah… Maybe yadif was the best choice. I had seen a really low quality 720p before that appeared to be IVTC’ed so I’ll give it a go.
