Volume 7 brings us far beyond the original television broadcast and will serve as a necessary transition into the next phase of the series. Whether to appeal to fans who are not fond of certain upcoming episodes or simply a coincidence, Volume 7 includes several notable extras such as the full length Opening Song “irony” and Stardust Witch Meruru Opening. The much coveted Animated Commentaries are of course also included with the release. Karaoke (romaji and kanji) is provided on all the songs from the episodes and extras. That said, can someone tell me when the differences start with ep12 True Route (Without giving any spoilers). I haven’t watched the series at all yet but plan on watching both versions of episode 12 in my first viewing of the series.
The episodes are the same just that the last ~5-10 minutes is different, cant give much info since itll spoil most parts.

what is that Opening [Full Version]? is it like all the OP of all episodes combine together? so, will there be also Ending [Full Version]?
An ‘Ending [Full Version]‘ wouldn’t be possible, considering each episode has a different ED song. With each BD, though, the full length ED tracks are included.

am abit confus..7.vol..only 13 episode? the 11+12 episode is in 6.vol?

vol 6 is 11 + 12 “good end” it’s the same episode as 12 “true route” but with a different ending (good one) that stop the anime here.
vol 07 is 12 “true route” + 13, and follow the real plot from the light novels (hence the true route) and will be followed by volume 08 (last one) with episode 14 & 15 that will finish the anime with this true route. These four episodes (12 “true route”, 13, 14, 15) were not part of the TV releases and were released only as webcast (online videos)

hey… there’s a problem when i play your 720p Episode 12 True Route & 13 Animated Commentary… the video lagged and flash black screen for many times… any idea ???

HI10p is newer codec, and shrinks and maked the file look better.
Takes away the banding.
10p is snake oil, it’s not needed if the source isn’t in 10bit depth already.
You have no idea what you’re talking about. Preventing banding is a huge factor in increased filesize. Hi10p reduces banding when compressing. I’m not sure about filesize with identical encoding settings, but apparently it’s smaller anyway.
Yeah thanks mooksie, i encodes BD daily and i know perfectly how to deal with banding, don’t try patronizing me, the fact that Hi10p is useless with 8bit source is true in most situations, there is some advantages because the WHOLE processing is 10bit, filesize are smaller because of the more accurate QP calculation and also because to store perfectly color gradient coming from a 8bit source you need a little more than 8bit (more near of 9bit), so that why 10bit encoding allow for better gradient handling and reduce banding effect, and improve compression because he gradient is more smooth, but it’s FAR from being perfect since most source aren’t, most NEED debanding because there is banding in the source so 10p doesn’t help here, of course for unfiltered good source it’s not bad, but it’s still too early to use it in production anyway, because most decoder doesn’t support it fully, and the encoding process is slow & inefficient because brand new and still in heavy devellopement. Moreover when you begin to use filters like denoising, the 10p become completly useless @ keeping the gradient, you’ll still need to add some artificial graining to avoid banding even @ 10p and you’ll lose all the saved up space you gain with 10p, you’ll still gain space with the better QP calculation given by Hi10, but it’s again TOO early to use, maybe in 4-6months yeah, but for now i prefer relying on technology used for years, and still improving on it. So go read some technicals papers, and do real encodes & look @ many BD source and come to me with facts not ideas you grabbed around on some forums. I don’t follow fads…
but i just updated codecs and MPC-HC to the latest few days ago… and only the 2 Animated Commentary are like that… i wonder why…

No problem here too, the encode settings are the same as always.
yeah, maybe its because of the settings of your mpc, sometimes, try saving/backup your settings at codec tweak tool first( you can find it at start menu>all programs>k-lite codec pack>codec tweak tool>all options) then try resetting all the settings(also found in codec tweak tool)
well, sometimes that happens to me when i install a newer version of mpc, if that also didnt work, try finding your problems at google

True end doesn’t mean bad end
, just that it follow the light novels, and it’s not really the end since the anime cover only 5 volumes on the 8 already out and it’s not finished !

Yo thanks so much for subbing the OreImo BD’s. I really appreciate how you guys include all the extras, with translations where needed. It’s been a blast watching the audio commentaries. The full OP and Meruru OP in this most recent release are great, too.
I’m posting because of just some small details I noticed while I was going through the episodes.
On episode 3, the chapter for the start of the episode preview is slightly off. Same with episodes 4 and 5.
on episode 6, the chapter for the start of B part is off. It should be at around 12:54, but instead it’s at 14:03.
On a side note, to Boz, I think what Karry might have been talking about is how episodes 1-6, if you downloaded them from the torrents, were named like this:

Kind of strange to bother changing the sign, okay, but not that big a deal… Except that they only changed it in that scene. Immediately following you have shots like these:

We don’t like making people wait too much, but sometimes can’t be helped, oreimo vol08 should be out in a few days, there is quite a few projects that are advancing well.

Main reason i’m so excited is this was one of my favorites last year, one of the few shows I followed as it was released (usually I watch one or two episodes, then ignore a show until it’s finished). I’m looking forward to watch the first 11 again, followed by the True Route episodes. Plus the extras are great (I LOVE that full length video for Irony)

We’re @ the Qcing stage, we wanted something excellent to close this excellent serie so it’s taking a huge amount of time to complete the volume we want to be the best of them all.
Just so you know: I scream at my computer for around 30 seconds when I check the page every morning before going to school, and when I return home. I love you a lot when I calm down afterwards though, reminding myself that you are only trying to do the best release possible.

I’d never even thought of a second season for this show (then again, I’ve only seen the TV version episodes so far). Would it be more likely to follow the true route stuff? Since the TV ending was pretty good as an actual ending, I mean.
If a second season does come, it will definitely follow the true route, since that is the closest to what actually happened in the novels.
This is why i betted on next spring, that should be right for LN11/12 to be out, since S1 covered only 5 volumes, that should be quite enough
and yeah ofc it will follow true route since it’s the real story from the novels.

Every morning I get up, check my email, check the webcomics I read, and check the news sites I go to. For over a month, this site has fallen between email and webcomics. Although, for about half that time, it was for this AND Onii-chan.
