The new chatbox makes an annoying pulse sound whenever someone posts a comment, even if it is a background tab in my browser. The net effect is I have to remember to click on a chatbox speaker symbol (which doesn’t always show up) or close the Kira web page asap to avoid that annoyance while I’m doing other stuff. Mobile users probably don’t notice it, and home users probably haven’t figured out where that annoying sound is coming from yet, since it mimics electrical interference like a local compressor going on and off. Unless driving people off the website asap is the goal, you might want to make that an opt-in instead of a per session opt-out option feature, or perhaps kill it entirely. After exams, of course!
try update ur flash plugin and register in the chat when u do that it will automatically remember ur setting and when u disable the audio it will stay disabled until u change it
You shouldn’t really have to do any of that though should you? It should be quiet by default. Anyway, I sorted it by blocking cbox’s domain; anything that annoying can’t be worth it.
So that’s what that damn sound was. I’ve spent hours trying to tweak my sound settings to no avail. I hate it so much I tried everything to fix it, I almost tried reinstalling Windows 7! Also blocking the domain did nothing, the sound is still there.

I have the Japanese release of Book of Bantorra which has commentary tracks, making features, and audio dramas on it. Are there still plans to do the Sofutenni blue-rays? It looked like a really fun show, but there was something like 5 minutes completely censored out in the second or third episode, so I just decided to wait for the blue-ray release. You guys are the only group I know of who announced doing the blue-rays for it, so just wondering if I should start searching harder/just give in and watch the tv version, or keep patiently waiting.

happened by while looking for MM! subs and i have to say, I am beyond impressed by this place. it feels a lot more … professional then the other fansub sites I’ve visited ^-^
I have a question… from episode 7 and onward for Ore no Imouto, the audio becomes out of sync (i kind of want to say it’s the video not the audio) when i go to re-encode them for other devices.. I tried delaying the audio, i’ve also tried video but i just can’t seem to get them in sync. so my question what can i do? although im sure you’ll say try Delay again

Well it’s not so much your video.. It’s when I go to re-encode them for another device, is when it becomes out of sync… If I were to watch them as is w/o re-encode they are fine… Like I said didnt have that trouble with the first 3 volumes
Ah it’s a different problem then, you can’t reencode them like that, i used variable frame rate encoding in the latest volume (from 4 to 8 ) to make everything smooth, you need to extract the timecode from the MKV and remux them with your new encode to not have audio sync issues.

I have a question… How do I correctly extract the timecode because I can save a time code through aeigsub… But with that, I receive an error that the time stamp may not correctly merge in MKVmerge… How do I use MKVextract to get the time code? I have all the programs up to date
I give up on the timecode… It always results in an error.. Unless you could supply me the time codes, I’ll have to sadly go with someone elses encodes for other devices.
I receive this warning from MKVmerge “track 0: the number of external timecodes 36900 is smaller than the number of frames in the track. The remaining frames of this track might not be timestamped The way you intended them to be. MKVmerge might even crash”… I used MKVextract 1.6.4.1 as 2.2.2.5 does not give me a timecode v2 txt… The resulting file comes out to be 298kb which I know is the wrong file size, aeigsub gives me a 559kb file, I still receive the same warning from either timecode
After MKVmerge finishes, loading it into ripbot the framerate shows 23.81 video duration is 50:41, after re-encode video length results normal, audio drifts out of sync… Prior to re-encode the audio is in sync with the video
